Our Story

Spice, Rice,
and all things nice.

Golden Plate started on the streets of Boston with one truck and one goal: bring real Middle Eastern halal street food to this city. The kind you'd find at a cart in New York, but made right here.

Every protein is blessed, baked, and grilled fresh. The sauces are made in-house. The basmati is seasoned, not plain. Nothing comes out of a shortcut.

Now across multiple trucks and stores in Boston — and still #GoldenPlate every single day.

Boston doesn't lie.

"The rice plate with white sauce is genuinely one of the best things you can eat in Boston under $15. I've been going to the Harvard truck for two years and the quality never slips."

— Marcus T.

"Obsessed with the gyro plate. The creamy garlic sauce is unreal — I put it on everything. GP is the kind of food truck you go out of your way to find."

— Sofia R.

"Best halal food truck in the city, no contest. The chicken is so tender and the portion sizes are actually generous. Get the baklava to finish — worth every penny."

— David K.
